FAQ

Questions,
answered.

What membership is, what it costs, how application works, and what to expect before the club opens in 2027.

Membership

What is Lumière?

A private, application-only wellness club in the Dallas Design District, built around training and recovery. A communal coed recovery circuit: cold plunge, a stone-clad mineral pool, Finnish sauna, and infrared, alongside a full training floor, a reformer studio with mat pilates and yoga, a spa, a café, and a member lounge. Boutique in scale, and reserved for the people we accept. It opens in 2027.

What does membership cost?

Charter membership is $275 a month — a rate reserved for the earliest names on the list, with a complimentary treatment to begin. Standard is $325 a month and begins when the club opens. Signature, our exclusive tier, is $549 a month and kept to very few.

What does membership include?

The full recovery circuit, the training floor and the equipment, the sauna, the member lounge, mat pilates and yoga, group programming, and reformer classes. Every membership includes full access to the club. Signature adds a monthly treatment, quarterly assessment, priority booking, and guest access.

What is the recovery circuit?

A single unhurried sequence rather than a room of machines: rinse, cold plunge, a stone-clad mineral pool, Finnish sauna, infrared, then the loungers. It is communal and coed. Locker and shower suites are private by gender.

Are treatments included?

Treatments are booked à la carte on every plan, in the spa's own rooms. Signature includes one treatment each month. Charter members begin with a complimentary signature treatment the week the club opens.

What makes Signature different?

Signature is the club at its fullest, kept to very few seats. It includes one treatment each month, a quarterly assessment, priority booking, and guest access, on top of everything in membership. It is offered as a genuine exclusive, not an upsell.

Can I bring a guest?

Guests are welcome by member invitation. There is no public day-pass access. The club is for members and the people they bring.

Is there an age requirement?

Yes. Lumière is a 21-and-over club. Members must be 21 or older, and we may ask for proof of age at enrollment.

Application

When does membership begin?

At enrollment, when the club opens in 2027. Until then, the waitlist is open by application. An accepted application is a place in line: as opening approaches, invitations to enroll are extended in order, and membership begins with a signed agreement. Nothing is owed before enrollment.

Why is it application only?

A club is only ever the people in it. Applying lets us build a membership that feels considered to everyone in the room — not exclusivity for its own sake, but the reason the room works.

How does the application work?

You complete the application. Every application is reviewed personally, and accepted applicants take their place in line. Applications referred by a current member are reviewed first.

Does it cost anything to apply?

No. An application simply places you in line. Dues and the initiation fee begin at enrollment, when you are invited off the list and sign a membership agreement.

What happens after I apply?

You will hear from us by email after review. Accepted applicants hold a confirmed place in line, are invited to enroll in order as opening approaches, and are first to know the details, including the exact address, which is shared with members.

What happens when enrollment opens?

Accepted applicants are invited in the order they were accepted. You will receive a membership agreement setting out dues, the initiation fee and the terms in full; membership begins when you sign it. A deposit is due at signing, not before.

Can I change my mind?

Yes. An accepted application is a place in line, not a commitment — you can step out of it at any time before you sign, and nothing is owed until then.

The Club

Is the recovery space coed?

Yes. The recovery circuit is communal and coed. Locker and shower suites are private by gender.

Where is it, and when does it open?

The Dallas Design District, opening in 2027. The exact address is shared with members ahead of opening. Space reveals and build progress run on Instagram and TikTok at @lumieredallas.

Why not more amenities?

By choice. A few things, done completely, beat a long list done halfway. Everything in the club earns its place, and is executed to a standard the city has not seen. A club is not a list of amenities. It is the feeling of being looked after.

Training and recovery, behind one door.
